This year’s edition will be hosted over 3 days of creativity, ingenuity and self-expression, bringing together 20 designers and 40 Models from the African Continent such as 11 year old Ethan Mokhele – South Africa, House of UYS – South Africa, Geo-Kaiser Clothing – Nigeria, Comfort Seditsi – South Africa, KanyoMolale, RSADOTCOM – South Africa and Lesego Mmolawa from Botswana who underwent an Internship in Durban at Mr Price HQ, Nadir Tati – Angola and many more who will showcase their latest collections.

MUMSY K OREMENG OF VERSATILE CREATIONS – BOTSWANA: I have great passion for Fashion and that is mostly influenced by the artistic skill i have hence that is why I create clothes that “communicate”. This is achieved through the use of art which I believe is a powerful tool. My goal is to ensure that I touch emotions of my clients and my collection viewers in a positive way, while my Vision is to create a clothing label that celebrates the spirit of African opulence, ethnicity and patriotism as well as to produce designs that have a global appeal hence the name Versatile Creations.

Fashion Without Borders’ vision is to empower the youth with a passion for Fashion, crafts and modelling by incorporating their different skills into a creative show that will contribute to the growth of the Fashion Industry and the rest of Africa, as well as to encourage the platform of cultural exchanges across the African Continent.

The fashion designers will take Centre stage to showcase their interpretation of Africanism, and to raise awareness and consumption of African fashion.

SPARKLE DESIGNS – BOTSWANA:Sparkle Designs is a handcrafted jewellery and accessories business located in Gaborone,Botswana. The brand sells at Phatsima Jewellery and accessories at Rail park Mall, at The artand Soul Gallery at Mowana Park in Phakalane and it is also mobile.Sparkle Designs have been in business for 2 years now and focuses on modern styles with anedge to create a royal and classy look. We thrive to create bodies of work that find theperfect collectors all day every day. Our ideal customers are females between the ages of 18to 60. Our clients pride themselves on wearing fashions that express their individuality andthey choose our designs for their creative styles that are both fashion-forward and can beworn for years to come.

This great lifestyle event includes pop-up stalls for those who want to own these special fashion collections for themselves, the introduction of the Fashion Unpacked Masterclass as well as 6th edition of the Fashion Show to be enjoyed by the public, with an opportunity to interact with both local and Southern African Development Community region designers.

NADIR TATI – “NADIR TATI” – ANGOLA: Nadir Tati is without doubt the main reference when talking about contemporary African style and Fashion in Angola. Advocate of African art and human rights Nadir Tati works with disadvantaged children. She graduated in Criminology, is an Image Consultant and a Fashion Designer. Nadir previously worked as a model and that has led to a great passion for the arts and the discovery of this fascinating world of the world fashion especially African fashion. Nadir finds inspiration in her own life and in the life history of Angolans. The collections are elegant, stylish and glamorous without forgetting its capacity for creativity and simplicity.

Expect to spend 3 fashionable days at The Grand Aria Hotel and Conference Centre in Gaborone, a magnificent events hotel, with great ambiance on April the 1st to the third of April, 2020.
