In the war against Covid-19, haulage truckdrivers are the foot soldiers at ground-zero of the pandemic.

As essential workers, they are busier than ever in this period, keeping shelves stocked with medical supplies and other vital necessities that keep economies roaring across borders.

But they just wish their working conditions could be improved just a little so they can effectively execute their duties.

Voice Reporter DANIEL CHIDA spoke to some of them at the Tlokweng border over the weekend.
