Tsotso so so good!

Ngele scores again for TTM

Midfield maestro, Mogakolodi Tsotso Ngele, continued his fine start to life with Premier Soccer League (PSL) newbies, Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandile (TTM), scoring his team’s only goal in a 1-1 draw with TS Galaxy on Sunday.

Ngele’s deft 54th minute header secured a deserved point for his new side in the club’s first ever PSL outing.

The strike follows the 30-year-old’s brace against SuperSport United in last week’s MTN Top8 quarter-final.

Indeed, despite the 3-2 loss, the game proved a debut to remember for the experienced midfielder.

3-0 down to the defending champions after just 33 minutes, Ngele almost single-handedly rescued his team from a seemingly hopeless situation.

His first goal was arguably the best of his illustrious career.

Receiving the ball on the edge of the area and swamped by defenders, Ngele unleashed a first time shot that flew into the top corner, leaving Bafana Bafana’s number one, Ronwen Williams with no chance.

Three goals in two outings marks an excellent return for a player who has not played much recently.

Ngele endured a frustrating end to his time at Black Leopards and was left out of the match day squad for the Limpopo-based outfit’s last six games of the 2019/20 season.

It seems his time on the sidelines have left Ngele hungrier than ever.

His goal-scoring exploits will come as welcome news to Zebras fans ahead of next month’s crucial AFCON qualifiers with Zambia.

Having failed to find the back of the net in their last five matches, Botswana will be desperately hoping Ngele can replicate his club heroics at international level.

Before setting his sights on Chipolopolo, however, Ngele’s radar will be firmly fixed on Wednesday’s meeting with his former side, Mamelodi Sundowns.

The red hot midfielder will be looking to serve the Brazilians a cold dish of revenge.
