Botswana International exports Mogakolodi Ngele and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe played the entire 90 minutes for Chippa United and Supersport United respectively this past weekend.
Ngele who was making his debut for his new club, Chippa United, was thrown in the deep-end operating in his favourite position just behind the striker.
The 31-year-old left footer looked to be more rejuvenated as he displayed skillful touches that unhinged the opponents’ defensive third and earned his side a 1-0 victory over the newly promoted Sekhukhune United.
Ngele is today expected to play a crucial role when Chippa United host defending Champions, Mamelodi Sundowns at Nelson Mandela Bay stadium at 5pm.
On the other hand, Ditlhokwe was back in the starting 11 when they faced off against Capetown City after missing their crucial MTN 8 Quarter-final clash against Golden Arrows last weekend due to a 2019/20 season suspension.
The Zebras Captain who seems to be commanding a place in the Matsatsantsa A Petori endured a very dull encounter as both clubs were wasteful in front of goal hence sharing the spoils.
Ditlhokwe will be hoping to be in the starting 11 as they face Golden Arrows who knocked them out of the MTN 8 Cup last Wednesday.
