The Botswana National Front (BNF) will embark on a massive recruitment drive as they look to attract new blood to the party.

Addressing the media earlier today (14 June), BNF Secretary General, Moeti Mohwasa revealed this was the underlying resolution agreed upon during Saturday’s Central Committee meeting.

The campaign will be launched on 28 June under the theme, ‘BNF: My Future, my vision’.

“A living political formation has to ensure that it grows by drawing new members into its rank and the drive will be done to make the party to reconnect and be relevant,” explained Mohwasa.

He further disclosed that a team comprising of Noah Salakae, Tona Mooketsi and Nelson Ramaotwana, working under the office of the Secretary General, has been tasked with ‘making arrangements, developing a composite paper for unity and stability and identifying presenters’.

Mohwasa told the media it was also resolved to hold a special Central Committee meeting on 1st July to give the matter undivided attention.

“The focus and resolution of the Central Committee is that we should work towards the unification and stability of the BNF to ensure UDC victory in 2024.”
