Speaking to the Voice Sport BNSC Chairman Marumo Morule confirmed that the agency gave them a name, they did their evaluation and assessment and they are fine with it. He said they are yet to submit the name to Minister Mcdonald Rakgare before he can present it to the cabinet.

“The final word stays with the Minister unless the cabinet overrules his decision. I think the process will be complete by next week and we’ll reveal the new CEO. We need a permanent person on this position who can make decisions tha’ll take local sport forward,” said Morule.

The chairman dismissed allegations that they already had their preferred candidate, and the interview was just a formality.
