From setting the bar high when it comes to looking ‘fab’ and suave with their suits back in 2014, now the Keno brand has added a cologne to their ever-growing portfolio.

The brand has introduced to the market ‘Keno scent’ with their first project: Elevate.

The perfume has officially hit the market and can currently be found at selected stores in Gaborone and Francistown with plans to eventually distribute the locally manufactured fragrance countrywide.

The brand is the brainchild of musicians cum businessmen, 43-year-old Donald ‘Dondada’ Nnoto and Thobo Kerekang, 33.

The dynamic duo are busy preparing for the product’s mega launch, set for July 29 at the Culture Cafe.

Speaking on behalf of the team, Nnoto explained that the new project was part of their ambition for Keno to be as versatile as possible.

“As a brand, we have always maintained that we will not just focus on one thing. We have been focusing on suits for both males and females since 2014. We decided it was time to add a little extra,” stated the elder of the two amigos, adding they piloted the project with a masculine scent but we will be launching a more feminine fragrance in the near future.

“Elevate, however, from the feedback we have received is that even the females can wear it. We have had a couple of those orders already so it is not entirely a masculine scent,” noted Nnoto.

Described as ‘a bold but fun and flirtatious perfume inspired by the 21st-century gentleman’ Elevate, according to the Keno team, sends a message of confidence from miles away.

To celebrate its first month on the shelves, the cologne is currently available in-store for a special price of P600 after which it will shoot back to its standard cost of P700.
