Funeral Service Group (FSG) and Orange Botswana have joined forces in an exciting new partnership that will allow customers to pay their policies through Orange Money.
Speaking at the union’s launch in Gaborone this Tuesday, Regional Manager South FSG, Modisaotsile Moletsane described the alliance as a ‘significant moment.
“This partnership plan to afford our customers with a flexible payment platform took a couple of months to come into play. It is very convenient looking at today’s market, which is bringing maximum value to our customers, as they will be paying from the comfort of their homes,” stated Moletsane, adding he was excited at the prospect of working closely with Orange.
Speaking on behalf of the mobile giant, Orange Money Director of Commercial and Operations, Onalethata Motswagole noted Covid-19 and its subsequent restrictions have made digital platforms more relevant than ever before.
“In this era of the pandemic, it is within our mind to seek meaningful partnerships like this one we are launching with FSG as the need for more convenience is greatly needed. Furthermore, we are proud to be partnering with FSG as we want to ease the payment of policies for Batswana.”
Highlighting his company’s proud reputation, Motswagole went on to say, “Orange Money has always been a reliable source of cash payments through the years and that is basically why we have decided to partner with FSG, we will be using the bill payment solution which is hustle free and the standard Orange Money code *145#.”
Officially launching the partnership, Head of Sales FSG, Tebogo Moribame-Setiko had this to say, “This partnership is geared towards digitalization that will allow both FSG and Orange to leverage their strengths to ease the lives of Batswana as they will no longer travel long distances to pay for their monthly premium payments.”
