Makaleng music fest

Club If Not Why Not will host the inaugural Makaleng Music Festival on 24th December.

The festival, which is an initiative of a newly formed company Audio Fly Enterprise, will be headlined by Vee of “Dumalana” fame.

Company Director Morebodi Nakedi says the inspiration came from the desire to help many upcoming DJs in his home village of Makaleng.

From the proceeds of this show we plan to purchase a DJ set which will be used to empower young DJs in the village,” he said.

Nakedi said they also plan to adopt the village Junior Secondary school.

Also in the line-up are Oscar Chakabuya, DJs Missy, Howard, Black More(RB2) and a host of Makalaleng young DJs.

The festival’s merchandise like t-shirts, hoodies and caps is already on sale.

Tickets are available at most Makaleng outlets and will be soon available in the big outlets in major towns and villages.

Tickets are P80 (single), P150 (double) or at the gate P100 (single) and P180 (double).
