2019 Sports Person of the Year Baboloki Thebe and 400m Sprinter Onkabetse Nkobolo survived a car accident this morning at around 220hrs near Trekkers night club in Mogoditshane.
The 23-year-old 400m track and field specialist, Thebe, is said to have lost control of the VW Golf vehicle he was driving and it overturned. He tested 0.94/100ml.
Nkobolo is said to have sustained fracture on his shin while another passenger, a lady (names known by this publication) from Molepolole is said to have sustained serious head injuries.
