GOSPEL GIFT: Tebogo Mapodise

The Director Human Rights of Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration, Tebogo Mapodise – better known by the stage name C in her fledgling music career – has released her first-ever single.

Dropped on 7 July, ‘Yes and Amen’ is a debut Gospel track that C is confident will catapult her to A-grade status.

“The message portrayed by the song is uplifting motivation to someone who may be going through challenges. It is an encouragement that we ought to pray even in difficult times because God is always willing to listen to us. He hears us and he answers our prayers. He is a good God and he is the solution to all our problems,” said the mother to the three sons.

The former Ombudsman Chief Investigating Officer told Voice Entertainment it has been her dream ‘to minister the word of God through music’ ever since the late 90s and her Selepa Junior Secondary school-going days.

“I used to lead songs at the school assembly and have awards for best song leader at assembly. Those who heard me sing at Scripture Union meetings back then, at work meetings and church meetings can attest that I love ministering through music. When I sing, lives get impacted and fond memories are created,” added C, whose debut single is available on multiple online platforms.

Having distributed the track to all local radio stations, C is hopeful her song will be blasting out on the airwaves soon.

Indeed, the Human Rights activist cum singer believes ‘Amen and Yes’ will prove the launching pad to a stellar career, with her ambitious sights ultimately set on the international market.
